Who enters our “Steinbock”. Wirtshaus am Tauern will get the sense of pleasant silence, calm and relaxation. Your daily life will stay outside the door.

We only serve traditional and regional dishes! Self picked mushrooms from the tauern region, fresh fish from the lakes in Salzburg or our delicious “Lungauer” potatoes are only a few ingredients from our menu.

KITCHEN FROM 12 AM – 09.30 PM
In our à la carte restaurant in winter time we serve our dishes from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
A small menu is available daily from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from 5:30 p.m. we offer our guests our evening menu until 9:30 p.m.
The uncomparable view at the snowy mountains and the unique kitchen make the tavern to an ultimate adventure in Obertauern.
